Lambton Public Health is committed to providing a healthy, comfortable and safe environment for our employees, volunteers, contractors and visitors. As a public health service provider, we need to act in a manner consistent with the messages and behaviours we promote. Therefore, Lambton Public Health has adopted this policy which prohibits the smoking of any tobacco product, smokeless tobacco, and e-cigarettes anywhere on the 160 Exmouth Street property.


This policy prohibits the smoking of any tobacco product, smokeless tobacco, and e- cigarettes at Lambton Public Health. The Lambton Public Health workplace property includes all grounds, walkways, driveways and parking lots including personal vehicles on the property.

The success of this policy will depend upon the thoughtfulness, consideration and co- operation of smokers and non-smokers. All employees, clients, volunteers, contractors and visitors share in the responsibility for adhering to and enforcing this policy.

The County will assist individuals who wish to quit smoking by facilitating access to smoking cessation programs and materials.
