Choosing the right birth control can be a challenge. Today, there are many options to choose based on your lifestyle and overall health.

To help you choose and decide on the birth control method that is right for you, we have provided links to commonly used methods and their effectiveness in preventing pregnancy. You will also find information on what to do if you have taken your birth control incorrectly and when you are not well protected.

If you are 24 years of age or younger and need birth control you can call the Sexual Health Clinic at Lambton Public Health to schedule an appointment. Also, if you are any age and do not have a drug plan, Lambton Public Health can fill your prescription for birth control at a reduced rate.
