Girl Talk for Parents and Daughters

Date & Time: Jun. 12, 2019 6:30 PM - Jun. 18, 2019 8:30 PM

The subject of menstruation and sexual health can be a difficult topic for parents and their daughters to talk about. Girl Talk, presented by a public health nurse from Lambton Public Health, is an icebreaker for parents and their daughters in grades 5 and 6 to discuss body changes including puberty and menstruation.

The goals of Girl Talk are:

  • Make young females more aware of their changing bodies
  • Help them prepare for the onset of menstruation
  • Help parents feel more comfortable discussing delicate issues with their children

Parents must register for this FREE presentation. Seating is limited.
