Parenting Programs

Parenting classes can help give you the skills to cope with the challenges and help you raise healthy and happy children from toddlers to teens.

Parent & Baby Drop-in 

Moms, dads, and caregivers can connect and get social support from other parents at parent drop-ins located throughout Lambton County. Public health nurses are available to provide general health information, referrals and much more.

Food Handler Certification 

The Food Handler Certification Program is designed to teach food handlers the general principles of safe food handling.

Immunization Clinics

Girl Talk Presentations

Girl Talk is a two hour presentation about puberty and the changes that occur.  It is offered to girls in grades 5 and 6 and their parents.

Available to groups working with community partners, a Registered Dietitian will answer questions on nutrition and demonstrate how to make healthy food choices during a free, aisle-by-aisle, guided tour of a supermarket.
