Prenatal classes promote a healthy pregnancy and prepare you for the birth and care of your baby.

Prenatal Classes for Young Parents

Parenting Program

There are parenting classes that can help you raise your children from toddlers to teens.

Parent Drop-in Program

Moms, dads, and caregivers can connect and get social support from other parents at parent drop-ins located throughout Lambton County. Public health nurses are available to provide general baby health information, referrals and much more.

Food Handler Certification Program

The Food Handler Certification Program is designed to teach food handlers the general principles of safe food handling.

Girl Talk is a two hour presentation offered to girls in grades 5 and 6 and their parents. Topics discussed consist of information about puberty and the changes that occur.

Supermarket Tours

Available to groups working with community partners, a Registered Dietitian will answer questions on nutrition and demonstrate how to make healthy food choices during a free, aisle-by-aisle, guided tour of a supermarket.
