A Chemical Emergency can happen anywhere – in the Chemical Valley, on the highway or railroad, or at some other location throughout Lambton County. When a chemical emergency occurs it is important to remain calm and follow instructions from emergency personnel by tuning your radio to a local station:

  • CHOK 1070 AM & 103.9 FM
  • The FOX 99.9 FM
  • K106.3 FM

What may I be asked to do?

Your local emergency response officials may instruct you to either Evacuate or Shelter in Place. These two instructions are very different and it is important to understand the differences.
