Sarnia, ON – Celebrate Bike Month in June at one of many Lambton County events.
"The cycling events are a great way to get active and help support local charities," says Kelley Elliott, Health Promoter with the County of Lambton Community Health Services Department.
- Bike to Work Pancake Breakfast
Tuesday June 5
Lambton Inn, 1485 London Rd.
5:30 a.m.-10 a.m.
Share your cycling stories with Dave Burgess of K106.3 radio, and enjoy a pancake breakfast before biking to work or your destination. $5 breakfast donation to Bluewater Trails.
- Howard Watson Nature Trail Cleanup
Tuesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 7
Blackwell Trails parking lot (closest to Michigan)
Evening ride after trail cleanup. Bring work gloves and enthusiasm.
- Pedal to the Pines Charity Ride
Saturday, June 9
A 70 km or 148 km bike ride to Pinery Provincial Park. Registration is required. Entry fee is $40. Visit www.pedaltothepines.com for information. Supports Lambton County Developmental Services.
