This page was reviewed or revised on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 9:18 AM

Sarnia, ON - What does a Community that Cares truly care about? Lambton Public Health and the City of Sarnia believe that with winter approaching, neighbours helping neighbours with snow removal is a good place to start.

Support this Community that Cares event and provide your feedback:

Snow Removal Brainstorming Session
Wednesday, October 24, 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
Sarnia Arena, Kiwanis Room,
134 Brock St. S.
Open to everyone

"Our goal is to generate snow removal solutions in Sarnia-Lambton, particularly for community members who require support to maintain snow-free sidewalks and driveways," said Jennifer Graham, Health Promoter at Lambton Public Health. "Everyone is encouraged to come out and share ideas for improving accessibility in our community through improved snow removal practices."

Snow removal was identified in the Age-Friendly Sarnia Action Plan as a priority for Sarnia-Lambton. Healthy aging is a strategic priority for Lambton Public Health and aligns well with the City of Sarnia's Age-Friendly Action Plan.

The event will also highlight current Community that Cares efforts to partner with community stakeholders that serve older adults.
