Lambton Public Health Searching for Dog That Bit Woman

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that happened around noon on Sunday, June 17 in the Davis and Mitton streets area of Sarnia.

The dog, described as small white dog with black and brown spots with a red collar, possibly a Jack Russell terrier, was seen walking unattended on the street by the victim.

If you have any information relating to the location of the dog and its owner, please contact Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 ext. 3577 or toll free 1-800-667-1839. If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
