Bridges out of Poverty - Workshop (2018)

Location: Lambton Public Health Classrooms A & B 160 Exmouth Street Point Edward, ON N7T 7Z6


Gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and strengths of people living in poverty.

This one day workshop will:

  • Examine the impact of poverty on families
  • Explore the hidden rules of economic class
  • Identify ways to improve relationships
  • Develop new tools to better address individual needs

The workshop consists of best practices, ideas, and concrete tools with proven results that brings people from all economic classes together to address all causes of poverty in order to build resources, improve job retention rates, reduce health inequities, improve health outcomes and support those who are moving out of poverty.

A breakfast and lunch will be provided to those registered. If you have any dietary special needs, please let us know. Each participant will receive a copy of the Bridges out of Poverty workbook.
